Overview

Bio:

Born and raised in Kansas City, I first became interested in the arts when I turned my bedroom walls into a drawing board at five years old. My parents were not amused.

Years later, I picked up my first skateboard and my first camera shortly after. Both of them blended perfectly. Skateboarding shaped me as a man and as a photographer. During my college years at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I spent most of my time photographing skateboarding. After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles with my wife, Lwany.

Once in LA, I became a staff photographer for Skateboarder Magazine. I traveled the world photographing skateboarders I grew up watching as a kid. It was a dream job until it came to an end, with the magazine going out of business.

From there, I applied my photographic style to other areas I was interested in, like lifestyle, fitness, and advertising.

Recently, we moved just north of Los Angeles to a small town in Ventura County. When I'm not on set, I spend my time playing with our new pup Milo, skateboarding, cycling, gardening, perfecting the cup of coffee, and trying to master the grill.
